An east coast native, Nick spent his formative years on the west side of the country, traveling and growing up surrounded by the ocean in beautiful environments like Hawaii and California. It was in these places that he developed his love for the water and became an avid surfer. When he returned to New England in his early twenties he began to participate in recreational sailing and enjoyed competing in the Wednesday night sailing races.

Nick started working with Custom Marine Canvas based in Noank, CT in 2003 and has been with CMC ever since.

When CMC decided to close its doors in 2023, it made sense for him to open Nick’s Custom Canvas. With over 20 years of marine fabrication experience as well as 2 decades of building personal relationships within the marine community, this was an easy and smooth transition for Nick.
